The Fountain
As you walk across the drawbridge and into the massive courtyard in front of the castle, you see a group of students milling about in front of a large fountain. The fountain is adorned with four spouts in the shapes of the four house mascots: a phoenix, a sphinx, a wolf, and a dragon. Atop the fountain is a depiction of the four school founders, standing back to back, seemingly surrounded by an unseen foe.
If you are new, please stop here and introduce yourself to the other students. Please refer to the Student Code of Conduct (posted on the Notices Board) before you begin posting.

Kobiyashi's Garden
Near the Fountain lies the beautiful japanese garden of the Headmistress. It is richly adorned with maples, bamboo, camelias and gnarled pines pruned bansai style. Gorgeous Cherry trees blossom year round, leaving the garden perpetually in springtime. In the middle of this wonder stands a magnificent pagoda where Headmistress Kobiyashi's office resides.

The Garden Shed
A small, weather-beaten shed stands in its own corner of the Gardens. Though it is not much to look at on the outside, upon entering the shed you see an amazing site; it has been magicked to be twenty-times its size with a high ceiling and glass-paned windows to allow the sun's rays inside. It is flourishing with plants, ample student workspaces, and tools of all kinds.

Student Tables
Running the entire length of the Great Hall are four enormous oak tables, one for each House. The atmosphere is informal, and students wander back and forth, talking with others from all the Houses.

Professor Dowling's Office
Nestled at the back of a long, dim hallway, Clark Dowling's Office is guarded by a large stone Sphinx. Those who enter will see all manner of strange artifacts lining the bookshelves, various types of games and an area for boxing training. An empty plaque with the name "Lysander" hangs over the fireplace.

Potions Laboratory
Professor Trent Voertigern, Lobostro Head of House, works on new creations in this room. The lab is well-stocked with a wide assortment of potion making ingredients, so get in here and get to work!
You must have permission to use the lab during non-class times (dangerous things in here, you know), so make sure to ring the doorbell and announce your arrival before entering.

Professor Boudreaux's Office
Far up in the tower, there's a room with Victorian styling, comfy chairs, and large windows looking out over the Quidditch Pitch. It has become the office for the (former) House Ghost, Colubrae Head of House, History of Magic professor, and Deputy Headmaster.

Bloodthorne's Office
Deep within the dungeons of Avistrum castle lies the office of the former Divination Professor, Kraven Bloodthorne. Two stone dragons create an arch around his doorway. A crystal orb is located in the middle of his black door. Now that he has returned, ask the orb to enter -- you may be allowed.

The Hospital
Nestled in a corner just beyond the Great Hall is the Hospital, where Nurse Signa tends to students who've fallen off a broom, suffered a Doxy bite in Care of Magical Beasts, or just eaten too many Chocolate Frogs.
