New Forum Themes Added

As you probably noticed when you logged in here, there is a new set of themes for the Avistrum Forums. The default theme is known as "Avistrum Vintage." There are house-specific variants named "Parador Vintage," etc. Finally, there are a series of "black" themes, named "Avistrum Black," "Parador Black," and so on.

Everyone's theme has been set to the default, Avistrum Vintage. To change your selected theme, click on the link "User Control Panel" at the top of your screen, then select "Board Preferences" from the sidebar that shows up. The option is called "My board style."

The new themes work best when you have JavaScript enabled in your web browser. They will also look best in a "current" browser, like Firefox 3.5+, Opera 10, Google Chrome, or Internet Explorer 8. They should work, however, in older browsers, just with reduced capability.

These themes have been reasonably well-tested, but there may be bugs. Please report those here on this thread, and I will deal with them as best I can. Enjoy the new look!

Re: New Forum Themes Added

They look very nice--but when I page backwards in Chrome, I'm getting a pretty consistent, 'Aw, Snap!' message, which Chrome's help page says is a function of a web page ending unexpectedly. I have to refresh. I'm using the latest version of Chrome and Java.

I also still have that undead unread message in my mailbox that I've never been able to get rid of. Sorry to keep adding to your already impressive workload!
